Abstract

This article provides a scientific analysis of modern economic mechanisms for managing logistics costs in the agricultural sector and examines their significance in the production and distribution processes of agricultural products. The study investigates the structure of logistics costs, including expenses related to transportation, storage, packaging, loading and unloading operations, and information flow management. Based on the experience of developed countries and logistics management approaches recommended by international organizations, the paper highlights economic mechanisms for optimizing costs in the agricultural sector. Furthermore, the study evaluates the impact of digital logistics platforms, Supply Chain Management (SCM), smart warehousing systems, GPS monitoring, logistics outsourcing, and the cluster approach on improving economic efficiency.
