Abstract

This article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations, as well as the practical aspects, of improving the mechanisms for stimulating sustainable economic growth in the region. The study analyzes the impact of key factors influencing regional economic development, including investment activity, industrial production, export potential, innovation development, and infrastructure conditions. In addition, the effectiveness of existing economic mechanisms and the priority directions of government policy aimed at ensuring sustainable regional development are evaluated. The research employs economic-statistical analysis, comparative analysis, correlation-regression analysis, and a systematic approach. The findings indicate that increasing investment volumes, diversifying industrial sectors, promoting innovative activities, and expanding export opportunities are among the most important prerequisites for achieving sustainable economic growth. Based on the econometric assessment of factors affecting economic growth, a set of scientifically grounded recommendations and practical proposals has been developed to enhance the effectiveness of regional development policies. The results of the study can be applied in improving regional economic policy, designing investment programs, and supporting decision-making processes aimed at strengthening regional competitiveness and ensuring long-term sustainable economic growth.
