Abstract
This article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations as well as the practical aspects of ensuring sustainable economic growth through enhancing regional competitiveness. The study analyzes the economic, institutional, investment, and innovation factors affecting the level of regional competitiveness and assesses their relationship with indicators of regional socio-economic development. Particular attention is paid to identifying opportunities for accelerating economic growth by strengthening regional competitiveness and developing organizational and economic mechanisms aimed at addressing existing regional development challenges. The research employs a systematic approach, comparative analysis, statistical grouping, economic analysis, and scientific generalization methods. The findings provide a basis for developing practical recommendations to increase regional investment attractiveness, stimulate innovation activities, improve production efficiency, and ensure the rational use of regional resources. The implementation of the proposed mechanisms is expected to strengthen the competitive advantages of regions and contribute to sustainable economic growth in the long term.
