“The Star of Sahibqiran” — a socio-historical, historical and popular-science journal

“The Star of Sahibqiran” was established in 2010 and publishes scholarly, popular-science and analytical materials on the history of Uzbekistan, the era of Amir Temur and the Temurids, the history of statehood, historiography, source studies, archaeology, ethnology, cultural heritage, historical personalities, and current issues in national and world history. The journal’s official history reports academic cooperation with scholars from the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, the National University of Uzbekistan and other research and educational institutions.

By Resolution No. 260/7 of 29 December 2018 of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the journal was included in the list of scientific journals in the field of History.

The journal covers the history of Uzbekistan, Amir Temur and the Temurids, historiography, source studies, archaeology, ethnology, the history of statehood, historical geography, cultural heritage studies, archival studies, museum studies, Oriental studies and world history.

The journal operates within the Global Science Hub academic publishing environment based on Open Journal Systems (OJS). The platform supports Open Access, double-blind peer review, Crossref DOI infrastructure, ORCID integration, and international scholarly metadata standards.
