Abstract
Abstract. Introduction. This article presents the development of an experimental methodology for optimizing the composition of polymer composite materials modified with metallic and nanodispersed fillers to improve the thermal efficiency of polymer solar water heating collectors.
Materials and Methods. In this study, high-temperature-resistant polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) was selected as the polymer matrix, while aluminum (Al), copper (Cu), nanodispersed aluminum oxide ((Al2O3), and graphite were selected as functional fillers.
Results. A comparative analysis of the physical and thermophysical properties of the selected materials was conducted, and an experimental research design was developed to determine the composition of the composite material.
Conclusion. The developed experimental methodology makes it possible to determine the relationships between the composition of the polymer composite material and its thermophysical and mechanical properties.
