THEORETICAL ANALYSIS OF THE CONCEPT OF POVERTY

Abstract

The article approaches the concept of poverty as a result of the population's lack of sufficient income and the inability to meet basic needs such as food, clothing, housing, medical services, and educational services due to the lack of choice, leading to a lack of social opportunities, a decline in the standard of living, and a substandard quality of life. It emphasizes that poverty takes into account not only physical needs, but also social needs, is characterized by a lack of skills, entrepreneurial culture, and financial literacy, as well as health problems, and presents the negative socio-economic consequences of poverty.
