Abstract
The article examines the organizational and economic mechanisms for improving housing policy in Uzbekistan, as well as modern approaches to meeting the population's housing needs and increasing housing provision. Particular attention is paid to expanding the volume of housing construction, improving the mortgage lending system, supporting socially vulnerable segments of the population, increasing opportunities for home ownership, and attracting private investment to the construction sector. The possibilities of ensuring supply and demand balance in the housing market, effective use of financial mechanisms, development of public-private sector cooperation, and improving the effectiveness of housing policy across regions are also analyzed. Based on the research results, scientific and practical proposals and recommendations have been developed to improve housing policy in Uzbekistan, expand the population's opportunities to acquire housing, and ensure the sustainable development of the housing market.
