Abstract
This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state of the financial technology (FinTex) infrastructure in the Uzbek financial market, the systemic problems that hinder its development, and the economic opportunities they create. The study covers issues such as regulatory uncertainties, cybersecurity threats, the complexity of integration with outdated legacy systems, and the territorial disproportion of digital infrastructure. Also, based on the synthesis of the Central Bank and the World Bank's "Global Findex" data, the imbalance between the quantitative and qualitative indicators of the FinTex infrastructure is scientifically substantiated. At the end of the study, practical proposals and recommendations were developed for the transition of the national FinTex ecosystem from extensive growth to an intensive qualitative stage.
