Abstract
This article analyzes the dynamics of the total number of business entities, as well as those operating in agriculture, in the Republic of Uzbekistan, Qashqadaryo region, and Surkhandarya region over 2010–2025, along with the share of agricultural business entities within the total. Based on statistical data, growth rates were compared across the three regions, and the reasons behind the decline in the number of business entities observed in 2023–2025 were discussed. The findings show that entrepreneurial activity in agriculture has developed unevenly across regions, with Surkhandarya region achieving the highest growth rate in the number of agricultural business entities .
