Abstract
The article analyzes the dynamics of agricultural production in the region during 2009–2025 and evaluates its consistency with the average total income and expenditures of the population, i.e., purchasing power, using econometric methods. The analysis reveals a strong positive relationship between the volume of agricultural products produced per capita and the average total income of the population. A regression model is used to quantitatively substantiate the degree to which agricultural production affects purchasing power. In addition, based on differences in nominal growth rates and the extent to which income covers expenditures, proposals aimed at improving the welfare of the population have been developed.
