Abstract
The mountain ranges of Uzbekistan first include the Pamir-Alai, then the Alay-Gissar mountain range, which is its continuation, and then west of the Mastchoh node, which is considered a continuation of the Alay mountain range, it branches into the Turkestan, Zarafshan and Gissar ranges. This range extends from the Mastchoh pass to the city of Jizzakh in a meridional direction up to 320 km, and its height decreases from east to west. Due to the beautiful and enchanting nature of the mountains of Uzbekistan, this region is considered rich in international tourist attractions. Therefore, building tourist facilities in these areas taking into account nature and innovatively developing international mountain tourism has important scientific and practical significance. The necessity of building resort-tourist facilities in the mountains is related to the worsening ecological situation in the republic's flat part and environmental pollution in large cities. In the article, the author scientifically substantiates the importance and necessity of the innovative development of mountain tourism in Uzbekistan.
