Abstract

this study analyzes the relationship between human capital and regional economic growth from theoretical and empirical perspectives. Based on endogenous growth theory, education, healthcare, and innovation are examined as key components of human capital. Regression analysis conducted on panel data from Uzbekistan's regions (2010–2022) confirmed a statistically significant positive correlation between human capital indicators and GRP growth. The results indicate that investments in human capital are of strategic importance for reducing inter-regional inequality.
