Abstract
The article analyses the economic and econometric aspects of the effective use of financial resources (bank loans and investments) in enhancing the competitiveness of small business entities. A log-linear regression model is constructed using annual data for 2010–2024. The results confirm an elastic (β ≈ 1.07) and statistically highly significant effect of the volume of financial resources on the gross value added generated by small business. The contribution of bank loans is found to dominate that of investment. The article concludes with scientific and practical recommendations aimed at improving the efficiency of financial resource use.
