Abstract
This article examines the external and internal factors influencing the formation of competitive advantages of graduates of higher educational institutions in Uzbekistan. Using multifactor regression analysis, the significant factors determining graduate competitiveness — measured through employment in one's field of specialization — have been identified. The findings show that the renewal coefficient of university fixed assets, the level of computer equipment provision, and the share of faculty engaged in research have the greatest positive impact. A forecast of graduate competitiveness for 2024–2028 has been constructed using the trend extrapolation method.
