INTEGRAL STATISTICAL INDICATORS OF ASSESSING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF SOCIAL PROTECTION

Abstract

This article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of statistical assessment of the effectiveness of the territorial social protection system. The study used statistical grouping, comparison, dynamic series analysis, correlation-regression analysis, integral index method, and econometric approaches. The relationship between social protection expenditures, employment rate, poverty indicators, and social assistance coverage across regions was statistically assessed. According to the results of the study, it was substantiated that comprehensive statistical monitoring of the social protection system and management based on Big Data and digital technologies can improve the effectiveness of territorial social policy. Also, a methodological approach based on an integral index was proposed for assessing the territorial social protection system.
