Abstract
This study analyzes the structural and technological transformation processes of the industrial sectors of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the context of the digital economy based on econometric modeling. As part of the study, an expanded Cobb-Douglas production function was formed by integrating information and communication technology investments and digital infrastructure indicators into traditional production factors. The model parameters were estimated using the least squares method based on official statistical data of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2022–2025. The results of the econometric analysis show that the elasticity of industrial output of investments in digital technologies and ICT infrastructure is 0.183. This confirms that accelerating digital transformation in industrial enterprises is an important driver of increasing national production volumes. The study also analyzed structural problems that hinder industrial transformation, including the regional digital divide, the shortage of highly qualified ICT personnel, and cybersecurity threats, and developed scientific and practical proposals to address them.
