Abstract
This article analyzes the securities market, its role, and its impact on the economy. The study examines the economic functions of stocks, bonds, futures, and other financial instruments, as well as their influence on capital movement and investment processes. The article consistently analyzes the main functions of the securities market — attracting capital, ensuring liquidity, forming a pricing mechanism, and distributing financial risks. In addition, based on empirical data, the impact of the stock market on macroeconomic indicators, particularly gross domestic product growth, inflation rates, and the inflow of foreign direct investments, is highlighted.
