Abstract
The article examines the role of investment lending in financing priority sectors of the economy. An analysis of the sectoral structure of bank lending is conducted, identifying key trends in the allocation of financial resources toward strategically important sectors. Particular attention is paid to the role of investment lending in the development of industry, energy, and infrastructure. The main challenges hindering the development of this segment are identified, and measures to improve its efficiency are proposed. The study concludes that the banking sector plays an increasingly important role in ensuring sustainable economic growth.
