Abstract
This article statistically analyzes the economic significance and development trends of grape production in dehkan and household farms in Uzbekistan, particularly in the Samarkand region. Based on statistical data for 2020–2024, changes in grape production volumes across regions and farm categories were evaluated. The results of the study revealed that the viticulture sector plays an important economic role in increasing employment and household incomes. At the same time, the research identified several challenges in the sector, including water resource scarcity, insufficient development of storage and processing infrastructure, and agro-technological problems. The study also developed scientific and practical recommendations aimed at the sustainable development of viticulture, increasing the incomes of dehkan and household farms, and strengthening food security. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the comprehensive economic and statistical assessment of the impact of viticulture on household incomes based on the example of the Samarkand region.
