Abstract
This article analyzes the economic, environmental, and social efficiency of implementing ecological innovations in the region from scientific-theoretical and practical perspectives. Ecological innovations are an important factor in modern regional development, as they contribute to the rational use of natural resources, increased energy efficiency, reduced water consumption, waste recycling, and the mitigation of negative environmental impacts. In regional development, ecological innovations are not only a means of environmental protection but also a strategic direction directly related to economic stability, technological renewal, production efficiency, and the quality of life of the population. The study examines renewable energy, water-saving technologies, waste recycling, environmental monitoring, green transport, and resource-efficient production as the main directions of regional development. The analysis shows that the consistent implementation of ecological innovations helps reduce economic costs, strengthen environmental security, and expand opportunities for sustainable regional development.
