Abstract
This study analyzes the issues of strengthening the competitive environment in the educational services market, its theoretical foundations and practical significance. In particular, based on the experience of developed countries, mechanisms for forming healthy competition in the education system, cooperation between the public and private sectors, innovative approaches and factors contributing to improving the quality of education are studied. Also, the possibilities of adapting foreign experience to national conditions, ways to liberalize the educational services market, increase management efficiency and create equal competitive conditions between educational institutions are substantiated. As a result of the study, practical proposals and recommendations are developed to strengthen the competitive environment in the education system of Uzbekistan.
