Abstract
The article considers current issues of strengthening the financial support of higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. At present, the effective functioning of the higher education system and the training of competitive personnel are directly related to the economic and social development of the state. The article examines the effectiveness of financing sources such as the state budget, tuition fees, grants, and private investments. It also emphasizes the need to increase financial autonomy, use resources rationally, and introduce result-oriented financing mechanisms. The research findings contribute to enhancing the stability of higher education institutions and improving the quality of education.
