Abstract
This article examines the potential for developing services in the Republic of Karakalpakstan through the expansion of the tourism market. It explores prospects for the growth of the service sector (service economy) in the region, leveraging its unique tourism potential—specifically in the areas of ecotourism, cultural-historical tourism, and ethnotourism. The paper puts forward scientific and practical proposals for expanding the network of ancillary services and implementing digital technologies, tailored to the specific climatic and geographical conditions of the Aral Sea region.
