Abstract
This article scientifically and theoretically analyzes modern trends in the effective use of human capital in ensuring sustainable economic growth of the region. The study examines the role of human capital in economic development, its importance in the context of an innovative economy, and its impact on increasing regional competitiveness. In addition, digitalization, quality of education, healthcare system, scientific potential, and labor market transformation are evaluated as the main factors in the development of human capital. Based on the experience of developed countries, the article highlights effective mechanisms for the use of human capital and develops scientific proposals and recommendations for improving this area in the economy of the regions of Uzbekistan.
